From eagles and hawks to crows, owls, turkeys, geese, and more, birds are important to many indigenous nations in many ways. Eagles and hawks may be relatives bringing messages of hope or warning. Owls may be harbingers of knowledge or death (or both). And many birds may be used as medicines in traditional native ceremonies. We'll discuss both native knowledge and more recent science about these local bird friends.

The program is free and registration is open. We request registration as space is limited.
